Status Updates
7.16.2025 - Rubberized asphalt paving completed on Rush Chapel Rd. by NWGA Paving.
2.11.2025 - the Floyd County Board of Commissioners approved a grant with EPD to pave Rush Chapel Road with a Rubber Modified Asphalt (RMA). This will require a budget increase in Capital Projects for the total expense of $451,450. The County will have a match of $247,395 and this will be covered by the existing 2025 paving budget in 2023 SPLOST. This will require an increase to the Transfer from 2023 SPLOST in the amount of $247,395 and an increase to the Transfer to Capital Projects in the amount of $247,395.
