Recycling Collection Events

All scheduled collection events take place at 412 Lavender Drive in Rome. Event dates are listed below. These events are strictly for residents of Floyd County. If your vehicle is not tagged for Floyd County, you may be asked to show other proof of Floyd County residency (drivers license, utility bill, property tax bill, etc.). Appointments are required and can be made one month prior the event by signing up through SignUpGenius. Links will be posted when the event is live. Appointments can also be made by calling (706)291-5266, Monday through Thursday, beginning one month prior to the event. No phone calls will be accepted the day of the event.

HHW + Electronics February 7 9 AM - 3PM

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE (HHW) ITEMS INCLUDE:

  • Poisons, pesticides, paint, automotive fluids, fluorescent bulbs, cleaning products, pool chemicals

ELECTRONICS ITEMS INCLUDE:

  • Televisions, computers, monitors, speakers, printers, copiers, DVD Players, sound systems, cables, satellite receivers, fax machines
