PUBLIC NOTICE: L+A Testing for the March 10, 2026 Special Election
PUBLIC NOTICE: January 23, 2026
Logistics and Accuracy (L&A) testing has been delayed until Monday, February 9, 2026, due to the addition of the State Senate District 53 race, which will be held in conjunction with the U.S. House District 14 race.
The Floyd County Board of Elections & Registration will hold Logic and Accuracy (L&A) Testing for the March 10, 2026, Special Election for U.S. State House District 14 AND State Senate District 53 on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Floyd County Election Center, 18 East 12th Street, Rome. The Elections Supervisor will be available to answer questions regarding the L&A Testing from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the morning of Monday, February 9, 2026. Testing will run from 9:00 a.m. each following day (excluding weekends) until completion for all voting machines to be used during Advanced Voting and on Election Day. Testing shall be open to the public and members of the public are entitled to be present during the preparation and testing.
