Understanding Ballot Choices
Voting is an individual right and personal decision. Each voter determines how to complete their ballot, including whether or not to make selections in every race or question.
Voters may select up to the maximum number of choices allowed in each contest, choose fewer selections, or leave any contest blank.
This standard applies to all races, ballot questions, and referendums. Every voter has the right to make, or decline to make, any selection.
